John Godfrey’s Troubadour Show. Produced and presented by John Godfrey. This isn’t your average Country show. This is real Country Music, Two hours of the best new releases and some old favourites. The best in Alt-Country, Americana, Country, Folk, Rock, Roots and Singer Songwriters. Each week on the show I start off with a classic older track. Most of the tracks on the show are new, either just released or from forthcoming albums. I add a few classic tracks into the mix as well. I also play 2 songs from my chosen ‘Album from The Archives’ which has to be at least 20 years old. I also have a 3 song connection, where I play 3 songs back to back with some kind of connection, 3 songs about the same subject – trains, houses, flowers etc. I also end each show with the same piece of music, which can be faded out. The show is a labour of love for me and I would like for as many listeners to hear the songs of some great artists.
