Show Description

Ready For The Weekend is a 60 minute Show, based loosely on shows like Radio 1 “Party Anthems” suitable for Community and Commercial Radio Stations

The show is released on a Wednesday for use through to Saturday night

The Idea

We saw a gap in the market for a weekend warm up show that stations could use between their weekday output and weekend specialist shows, or to fill an hour in the afternoon (like Radio 1 Party Anthems does)

The Music

The music is High energy dance, party style music, house remixes and one or two club classics

Format

The show is formatted into three parts of 18 mins (approx) to allow for news and ad breaks, or one whole show file so the total show is about 57 minutes total with approximately 6 links

The Host

Lee Everest is a radio presenter based in the UK and has over three years’ experience working on live radio, for community stations as well as pre recording and voice tracking shows, he currently works for Uckfield FM and Seahaven FM (Saturday 6-9pm) in this capacity

RFW is recorded in his personal studio via a Rodecaster pro and by using beds, and jingles
