Show Description

The Worlds Number One Independent Cover Version Radio Show!

We are all about cover versions on SecondHandSongs. We play big hits, hidden gems and some obscure originals to songs you didn’t realise were covers. Plus we delve into the story behind a track or two and we do the Cover Chain, where we link a series of songs together.

Plus every third episode is a special themed show. Previous themes include Musicals, Rock Week, Unexpected Covers, Foreign Language and even covers of the complete Guardians of the Galaxy Soundtrack.

All shows are timeless, so can be re-broadcast at any time and will still sound fresh and new. New stations are welcome to begin broadcasting from our current episode or start from Episode 1.

Technical Info

The show is available in high quality 320kbps MP3 in 60 and 59 minute single file versions. Plus the 59 minute version is also available in split files of 4 segments, where one segment is just a bonus track so you can leave it out if you have local news etc at the top of the hour.

Branding

The show is produced in association with SecondHandSongs.com, the online database of cover versions, and their name is used under license. SecondHandSongs branding is used throughout the show and listeners are encouraged to visit their website to rate the songs heard in each episode.

The show is produced by Bear Cave Studios, an amateur audio production company. The Bear Cave Studios website, and email address, are given out on the show

The show is uploaded to MixCloud and a special version is also added to Spotify. There are mentions of this on each episode, so listeners can check out our back catalogue if they wish.

The show has no other branding, sponsors or advertising, and there are no station ID’s.
